Ground-breaking intelligent AF
The camera’s autofocus is programmed using a deep-learning AI – first developed for our ground-breaking EOS-1D X Mark III. This enables the EOS R5 to recognise and track a subject’s face and eyes with new levels of accuracy and precision, even when viewed from the side. This tracking ability is also available when photographing dogs, cats and birds, keeping them in sharp focus as they move – a first for EOS cameras. A next-generation 45 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor captures incredible clarity, low noise and wide dynamic range: the perfect partner for our advanced RF lenses.
