The Benro Phoneographer has an innovative folding design that allows it to pack down super small for transport. This compact design reduces the size of the gimbal by about 50%, allowing it to be stored easily for travel.

Change Perspectives with Ease

Switch up your composition by pressing the “M” button on the side of the handle of the P1 gimbal. This alternates between 16:9 landscape video for YouTube and vertical 9:16 video for facebook and Instagram stories.

Up to 24 Hour Battery Life

With a sizeable 2000mAh battery, the Benro Phoneographer gimbal can deliver up to 24 hours of run time. That’s not all, the battery inside the gimbal can also be used to recharge your device either using a cable or even wirelessly with compatible phones.

Mic Input for Audio Recording

Benro understand how important audio is for filmmakers at any level, which is why the P1 gimbal has two TRRS audio ports that can be used to send audio from an attached microphone to a compatible phone.

Complete Control

Designed to be super comfortable to use, the gimbal weighs only 480g, has a 4-way joystick and customisable buttons. There is a button to switch between the various photo and video modes on the Benro App and another to start and stop recording. There is even a trigger button on the front that be used to either lock the tilt and pan axes or activate different gimbal modes.

Gimbal Modes

With a range of different operation modes, the P1 can follow left and right pans, in the omni-direction mode it can follow up and down tilt as well as left and right pans. The quick follow mode increases the gimbal speed for tracking fast subjects while the direction lock mode keeps your phone always pointed in the same direction.

Designed for the BenroRedDog App

The Benro P1 smartphone gimbal works in conjunction with the BenroRedDog app to provide a whole host of video and photo functions like time-lapse, hyper-lapse, panoramic photos and long exposure still functionality. The app also allows you to update the firmware and re-calibrate the gimbal, as well as supporting face tracking and a whole host of other functions.
